I got something akin to a virtual hug! I have been nominated for the Liebster Blog Award, something totally unexpected and totally exciting since I’m still very new to the world of blogging. And how very encouraging!
The Liebster Blog Award is bestowed on blogs with less than 200 followers (I definitely qualify on that point) that deserve more attention (how nice that someone thinks that’s the case!). It’s funny because Liebster is a German word meaning dearest, beloved, or favorite, and I probably would never have started this blog if we hadn’t moved to Germany. It’s been great fun though (the move and the blog)!
There are a few rules to accepting the award:

It’s funny; I didn’t even connect the German word to your blog when I thought of you! It was my mother who later told me what Liebster meant in German. But it appears it was a perfect coincidence in this case!
And that’s how life works…one odd little coincidence after another :)
